After two years as a designer in New York, Bettina began her career as an Art Director at Springer & Jacoby, Hamburg in 1990.

In 1992, she went to Jung von Matt, helping to make it one of the best creative agencies in Germany, before rejoining Springer & Jacoby in 2000. As an Executive Creative Director there, she was responsible for prestigious clients such as Coca Cola, Mercedes Benz, Miele, DWS and McKinsey & Company, producing TV, print and interactive campaigns. 2007 Bettina decided to change to the client side and joined Apple, Cupertino to work with them on the iPhone launch for Germany.

2009 she returned to Germany and worked as ECD for TBWA\ Hamburg on accounts like Häagen Dasz, NIVEA, Hansaplast and Merck, before joining THJNK (formerly KemperTrautmann) as a Creative Partner in 2010. There she was responsible for clients like IKEA, Deutsche Bahn, Filmfest Hamburg, Mumm/ Geldermann, Commerzbank, Henkel/Schwarzkopf, Spiegel and Vaillant among others.

In March 2018, she joined Geometry Global Hamburg as CCO.
Bettina enjoys travel and taking pictures and has been one of the First LOMO Ambassadeurs in Germany. She curated various exhibitions of Lomo Photograpy and has been on the jury of the Körber Stiftung-Foto-Award for young photography twice.

During her career, Bettina has won numerous awards including Cannes Gold, Clio, OneShow, Epica, Eurobest, D&AD, ADC of Europe and German ADC Awards. She is a member of the ADC Germany and has been invited to judge the ADC New York, the One Show New York, D&AD and the Clio Awards as well as the Kancil Awards, Malaysia. She teaches Conceptional Thinking at the Miami Ad School, the Muthesius Kunsthochschule in Kiel and has been lecturing at the One Show China Workshop in Beijing.
