YDA CHATS Episode 7: KIBWE TAVARES

This week on YDA CHATS… Karim talks to Kibwe Tavares, winner of the Special Jury Award at YDA in 2014 and director at Nexus Studios. Along with his background as an architect, he uses his love of storytelling and animation to create futuristic 3D animated and live action films. Since his YDA win he has gone on to direct commercials for global brands such as Guinness and UEFA, a mixed-media ballet production with the Royal Opera House, and was an Executive Producer on the BBC’s critically acclaimed series Noughts and Crosses.
