YDA CHATS Episode 10: NEZ

This week on YDA CHATS… Karim talks to Nez, director at Pulse Films and Gold Winner at YDA 2010.

The relationship between surface and depth is continually at play in Nez’s work. Carefully chosen color palettes dance on the surface alongside studies in form. His aesthetic choices excite the eye, but they also reach below the surface to reverberate with meaning. There’s a narrative drive to his visual pieces, and the juxtaposition between the two make the experience of his work linger.
