adidas & Terence Neale Talk Creative Relationships in this Year’s YDA Panel Talk

Find out how you can get your ticket to this year’s YDA event, which will include a panel discussion about creative relationships as well as access to the main prize-giving ceremony.

The Young Director Award, supported by shots, takes place in Cannes later this month, during the Lions International Festival of Creativity.

As usual, the YDA ceremony will be showcasing, celebrating and rewarding the best new films from a host of global directing talents on June 21 at the JW Marriott theatre in Cannes. Before the ceremony, though, we will also have our now annual seminar and, this year, the theme of the discussion is that of creative relationships.

shots editor, Danny Edwards, will be talking to South African director Terence Neale and his producer Rozanne Rocha-Gray about their creative partnership and how it works, before being joined on stage by founding partner of New York agency Johannes Leonardo, Ferdinando Verderi and Jenny Pham, adidas Originals’ senior director, global brand marketing & communications. The quartet, who have worked together on award-winning spots for adidas Originals, will discuss how trust, talent and togetherness can foster great work.

The YDA is a ticketed event*. The 20 Euro (plus tax) ticket will cover entry to both the panel discussion and the ceremony itself and you can purchase your YDA ticket Now.

*Student directors who have entered the YDA will be exempt from payment and if they wish to attend the event should send an email to hello@thoughtbubble.net with the subject line: YDA Director Ticket.
Please quote your entry ID, which starts YDA/18/EN.., in order to obtain your free ticket.
