Meet The Winners: Sarah Clift

Continuing with our series of YDA 2020 winners’ interviews, today Danny Edwards, Co-Editor of shots, is talking to Sarah Clift, who won one Gold and one Silver Screen this year for her film The Birth of Valerie Venus, as well as Silver in our brand new Dreampitch category.

Tune in as Sarah and Danny chat about bringing humour and sensuality to the post-menopausal female experience, and the challenge of casting the separate roles of an actress, and of her right hand. Discover how Sarah’s background in advertising prepared her for storytelling that merges the comic and the dramatic, why our new Dreampitch category was a perfect fit for her, and how winning at the YDA over the past four years has spurred on her career across commercial and non-commercial projects.
