Creation in Isolation: Pick of Week 2 (part two)

The implementation of this Spot, realized by the young production company Kojoten Filmproduktion GmbH for the printer manufacturer Brother took a total of 2 weeks. Director Seidel and her team have completely dispensed with found footage, but shot all the scenes themselves – without contacting the performers personally, of course. The cut scenes were staged over a total of three days via Skype with a total of 31 actors and several dogs.

Michelle studied Media and Communication at ORT Technical School and Filmmaking at ENERC.
She has directed three short films that have been selected in Iberoamerican Film Festival of Huelva, Madrid’s International Film Festival and Clermont-Ferrand’s video library, among many others.
In advertising, she is part of Rebolucion’s roster, having directed films for CoverGirl and ArteBa, while developing her audiovisual language in a rich portfolio of music videos and fashion films.
Michelle started out as an editor, with more than 50 commercial pieces, so she has a very acute sense of rhythm and cut that define her gaze as director.
Being female and queer, Michelle strives to broaden her narrative to feature a diverse gender, sexual and social perspective.
