Lisa Mehling is an Emmy award-winning Executive Producer and Owner of independent production company Chelsea Pictures. Chelsea, a creative content company with production offices in New York and Los Angeles, has cultivated a unique and diverse culture of producers and filmmakers who have become leaders across broadcast, digital, film, branded entertainment and print.

Lisa and Chelsea are proud to have launched the commercial careers of directors David Gordon Green, Lauren Greenfield, Alex Gibney, Jack Cole, and Nadav Kander. And their list of celebrated work includes the paradigm shifting campaigns for Always #LikeAGirl directed by Lauren Greenfield for Leo Burnett, which, has amassed 200+ million views, 4 billion impressions, over 200 awards, including 14 Cannes Lions and the Emmy for Outstanding Commercial. “Listen” the chilling Cannes winning Super Bowl spot for NFL directed by Nadav Kander which won a Silver Lions at Cannes. Multi-Award winning “Halftime in America” featuring Clint Eastwood, directed by David Gordon Green for Wieden & Kennedy, Audi “The Heist” for McKinney & Silver and most recently the Gold Lion and D&AD winning Christie’s “The Last da Vinci” for Droga5 as well as “Answering The Call” for Verizon and McCann, winner of four Lions.

Lisa’s love for and commitment to the art and business of filmmaking is reflected in her deep pride in Chelsea’s critical and commercial success and a growing list of Directors whose work has been showcased in International Advertising Award Shows and Film Festivals from Sundance, Venice, Toronto and Berlin to Cannes. Lisa was an Executive Producer on Lauren Greenfield’s breakaway hit documentary The Queen of Versailles and is also an Executive Producer on Lauren’s forthcoming film Fantasy Island slated for a 2018 release. Lisa served as the Chairperson of the 2017 AICP Show at the Museum of Modern Art and is currently Vice Chairman of the AICP (Association of Commercial Producers) National Board. And while she doesn’t believe in ending bios philosophizing about her philosophy, Lisa will, when pressed, admit to being a true believer in the power of seamlessly merging art and commerce, partnership and leadership, talent management and client service. Lisa lives in New York’s East Village with her husband and two children.
