4 years in London saw her work with some of the most iconic companies and creatives including @radicalmedia and RSA Films and with BAFTA award winning director Declan Lowney, and her time in New York saw her produce for Oscar nominated director Bennett Miller at Hungryman, as well as helping to establish Droga5 where Jo was ‘Number 4’.
Recognised as Australia’s best Creative Producer at the B&T Women in Media Awards, Jo has worked with some of the biggest names and projects in the entertainment and advertising industries worldwide, including, rock stars, politicians, and the current President of the USA. (As I am sure you can imagine there is an interesting story behind that project!)
Jo makes up one of the team behind 50 Shades of No, the only work from Australia ever to be shortlisted for a Glass Lion; an entirely pro bono initiative launched on IWD 2018. And in 2019 she guided 15 year old director Charlotte McLaverty to direct a compelling piece which garnered national acclaim and was supported with music by Billie Eilish. Known as a producer who can make anything happen, with a deft eye for spotting and nurturing talent, Jo solely owns and operates her award winning production company OTTO , founded in 2009.
Jo has been invited to judge D&AD, The Young Ones for The One Show, Spikes Asia, Ciclope Europe and Latino and AWARD Australia.
Her credits include films which have screened at MIFF, Toronto, Palm Springs and Cannes Festivals.
